A frequent lecturer at both legal education and public information programs, his articles have been published in national and state legal publications. He conceived and is one of the founders of ElderLaw Services of South Carolina, P.A., the only statewide law practice in South Carolina geared toward the special needs of the elderly.

Since 1988, he has produced an ever-expanding series of audiotapes, videotapes, and print materials concerning a number of issues, including health-related matters and issues affecting the elderly.

He developed Make Your Wishes Known(r), a series of videotapes, audiotapes, and print materials about self-determination and the health care decision-making process. These programs were partially funded by The Duke Endowment and were produced in association with The South Carolina Hospital Association and Mary Black Foundation. Hosted by Spencer Christian of ABC's Good Morning America, these programs have been endorsed by hospital associations throughout the United States and have been designated as a national resource by the Department of Health and Human Services and have been positively reviewed by The Annenberg Washington White Paper. Mr. Christian was presented honorary membership in the American Association of Critical Care Nurses for his work in this program.

Using teams of professionals from throughout the country, he developed HealthCare Planing Service(tm), a multidisciplinary program which combines group health care planning educational programs and an advance directive delivery service that is now provided to large employee groups.

In association with South Carolina ETV, he recently produced "Long-Term Care: Issues and Answers", a series of five videotapes and accompanying print materials about all aspects of long-term care and health care planning.
